Liebster Award

 Hello Hello!! 

Before I left to work this morning I came online to check the weather and then I stopped into blogger and saw this comment about an award. (Oh, by the way I have many comments to go through, so do not worry your little hearts that you have not heard from me yet. I love your comments and truly appreciate them. I will definitely get to them tomorrow, since I will have time.) I did not have time to view the blog post right at that moment but I was like.. funny how that works. I was thinking about that the other day or more so yesterday and look what happens. I am grateful for the nomination truly! So thank you Sofi from Style Rumblings for nominating me!

E1EVEN THINGS ABOUT ME

1. I have had glasses since grade 3, which everyone is always surprised by because I do not get seen with them often.

2. I started working from the tender age of 14 years old.

3. I have traveled to New York (x3), Jamaica (x4), California (x1) and Vancouver (x2).

4. Fashion has been something I have been passionate about since the young age of 9 or 10 years old.

5. I am an ARIES, which makes me a spring baby and brought into this world in the month of APRIL.

6. My nationality consists of Jamaican from my mom and German/Norwegian from my dad! =)

7. I am currently TWENTY-FOUR years old, which is always a HUGE shocker for people when they see me. Haha.. they never can believe it!

8.   I do not have a boyfriend or fiancé or husband for those who are curious and ever wondered while browsing through my blog. I know a lot of people I think wonder or like to know when reading a blog. 

9. I LOVE FOOOOOOOOOOOD, like no tomorrow! I am definitely not a picky eater at all but I definitely have a sweet tooth, without a doubt.

10. BELIEVE is my word. (You know how some people have a word or maybe not and it is just me!? Well mine has always been BELIEVE and it always floats cross my mind.

11. The bloggers who puts a smile on my face a lot is rockstar diaries with her two little ones, especially little Eleanor! I am in LOVE LOVE LOVE with her! She is the cutest little thing since cupcakes and Ferris wheels.Oh and Thedaybookblog with her little guy Mr. Everette, his eyes are a golden ticket to paradise in my books.

E1EVEN QUESTIONS FROM SOFI (who nominated me)

1. Name one thing that makes you get in the morning?
I am going to assume it was meaning get up in the morning and for me that would be a fresh start to brand new day, going to see someone, inspiration first thing in the morning from blogs, quotes, affirmations. If I had to choose ultimately would be a brand new day, because whatever happened yesterday was yesterdays day and today is a new day with new adventures and things to do. Oh and definitely my little niece, she is the cutest thing since pumpkin pie and whip cream.


2. Favorite artistic form of expression, whether its writing, drawing, crafting etc.?
I would have to say number one, definitely writing! I am always doing that, no matter what. However, also drawing is random but I would have to say sewing as the next thing to writing.


3. Favorite soap smell?
Definitely, hands down MANGO! Anything mango scented. 


4. The best kind of reward after a challenging day?
Just being able to relax and doing whatever my little heart desires! 


5. Most listened to song of the week?
Okay, so it is between Ne-yo Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself ) & Kip Moore Hey Pretty Girl (I know bipolar opposite music selection)


6. Favorite restaurant/coffee shop?
Rigolettos for restaurant and for coffee shop Second Cup and Starbucks is 50/50 for me.


7. Best holiday so far?
To date up until now I would have to say New York baaaaaby! ;) I would say Grade five, California, going to Disneyland! However, I was really young back then and it is not as crystal clear as New York and I am sure it has changed from the time I went there, so NEW YORK! NEW YORK-ER at HEART!


8. Place you would most like to visit?
Oh my gosh, you do not even know how badly I want to travel to this place but it definitely would be LONDON, ENGLAND hands down, no questions asked! My ultimate first choice place, then would be Australia, Croatia, Hawaii just to name a few but oh so many more places. But definitely my first pick would be LONDON that place has stolen my heart and soul right down to the itty bitty pit of my core. 


9. A perfect evening is...?
Just hanging out reading, watching television, going to the movies, watching movies at home, browsing the internet and being inspired. The greatest perfect evening every time, no questions asked is getting to see people and hanging out really. My favorite perfect evening would be hanging out with my very lovely friend Cristina. It always, always, always my favorite perfect evenings because of the amazing conversation! 


10. Why blog?
- Something to offer.
- Let someone else be inspired by.
- Give someone hope.
- A way to relate to something that you think you are alone in but really you will be surprised by all the love, support and how others or someone has had the same experience or challenges in life.
- A way to share a part of me but really a place to document my life. my stories. my inspiration. my love. my dreams. my challenges. ultimately my journey. 


11. One thing you've learnt since you began blogging?
Let me think... I would have to say putting myself out there and not being afraid. Also engaging with other bloggers and commenting instead of oh that's cool but never saying anything and even if you are the only comment, that one comment could bright that persons day. (Okay so that was more than one thing but it fits in together. =) )
