What Are Your Dreams?

Good Day Beautiful's!!

I had started writing this post the other day which I didn't get around to posting it because I got to busy with everyday life. I am here today to finally post this up because I think it's an amazing little task to do for each one of ourselves. I wasn't even going to post this today either but I was like I really have to get on this and actually sit down to write it all out for myself. It must be the perfect day for this because the dry street walks, aren't so much dry no more, they are graced with god's white winter snow. A disappointment to some, yeah to others not and to myself I'm just in between taking it all in. For this post it's a perfect day to take time out to do this, so continue reading down below. =)

My post for today has to do with the new book I started reading called 'The Magic' by Rhonda Byrne who wrote 'The Secret and The Power' both great reads. This new book isn't set up the way the last two are, this third book is definitely challenges to do with gratitude. It's definitely not a book you read and read like a story. It's a lesson each day to know what you have to complete and I was so intrigued in reading this and then reading what I have.. I was like wow! I could read it and go back and do the challenges but I don't feel like that makes sense to do, so I am going to do each challenge which there is 28. So over the next 28 days on my blog will be different challenges for each day and a higher volume of blog posts related to this book until it's completed. So fore warning you, if you don't like these posts you will know because of the title set above, along with (day #12) for example. I will make sure to do other things as a regular 3 posts for the week but it will technically be more than three posts a week. If it feels overwhelming sorry, but if not and glad to view more from me great. And for all those that want to join in with me, please do! I was thinking about how I wanted to go about this if I should write it in a journal, notebook, computer etc that's to myself but there is something inside of me that wants me to come onto my blog and post about it. I think it will be a great thing because I am not keeping it to my self but also it's set out into the universe and I feel that is the best way for me to accomplish and do these tasks. I hope you all enjoy and thanks for reading these posts from here on out for the next 28 days. The first step was not Day 1's challenge it was just to gather all this information and put it down on paper. I definitely will not have my challenges pre-written out on paper first, so everything that gets onto each post is all in the moment. I am just going to get into the actual task at hand and I will start day #1 officially on April 1st. As for this first little Dreams task I am not going to be posting this onto my blog but starting with Day #1 I will. So everyone can do this which ever way they want. I do hope you take the time to do this Dreams task because I think it's a good thing to sit down and do.

The "What Are Your Dreams?" is about being clear on what you really want. So the goal here is to sit down with a computer, pen and paper to make a list of what you really want in every area of your life. It's not a list to make a list it's a list for you to really think through every detail of what you want to be, do or have in your life -- in your relationships, career, finances, health and every area that is important to you. You can be as specific and detailed as you like but the point is to list what you want not how you're going to get what you want. The "how" will be done for you when gratitude works it's magic.

I am going to write this rest according from the book because to par phase it won't do justice for the very least.

If you want a better  job, or your dream job, then think about everything you want the job to be. Think about the things that are important to you, such as the type of work you want to do, how you want to feel in your job, the type of company you want to work for, the kind of people you want to work with, the hours you want to work, where you want your job to be, and the salary you want to receive. Get very clear about what you want in the job by thinking it through thoroughly and writing all the details down.

If you want money to educate your children, work out the details of their education, including which school you want your children to attend, the cost of the school fees, books, food, clothing, and transportation, so that you know exactly how much money you will need.

If you want to travel, then write down the details of the countries you want to visit, how long you want to travel for, what you want to see and do, where you want to stay, and the means by which you want to travel.

If you want a perfect partner, then write down every detail of the characteristics you want that person to have. If you want improved relationships, write down the relationships you want to improve, and what you want them to be like.

If you want more health, or an improved bodily condition, be specific about what ways you want to improve your health or body. If you want a dream home, then list every detail of what you want the home to be, room by room. If there are specific material things you want, like a car, clothes, or appliances, write them down.

If you want to achieve something, such as passing an exam, getting a degree, a goal in sports, succeeding as a musician, doctor, writer, actor, scientist, or businessperson, or whatever it is you would like to achieve, write it down and be as specific as possible.

Rhonda Byrne urges to find the time to maintain a list of your dreams throughout your life time. How? By writing down the little things, the big things, or what you want this moment, this month, or this year. As you think of more things, add them to the list and the things you receive cross them off the list. An easy way to do a list is to divide it into categories of:

- Health and body
- Career and work
- Money
- Relationships
- Personal desires
- Material things
and just add things to each category that you want.

When you get clear about the things you want, you are giving a definite direction to the way you want gratitude's magical power to change our life, and you are ready to begin the most exciting and thrilling adventure you've ever been on!

Act like a Lady, Think like a Man

Hii Beautiful Lovelies!

So I said I would be back yesterday for today and I am! As for what I want to mention about tonight is a book I had been reading last week called 'Act like a lady think like man' by Steve Harvey. I know it came out few years ago but now it is a movie coming out soon. To be honest this isn't my first time getting this book. I actually got this when it first came out because my cousin was like if you want I will buy you a book. I got it and I returned it because I thought it was stupid at the time since I had 'He's just not that into you'. No, I didn't read the whole book when I got it just skimming through it and reading different stuff, it didn't seem for me. Since I heard there was a movie I was curious what the book was really about and I went back onto youtube to view some of the interviews conducted by people such as oprah, ellen etc. I found it very intriguing and I was like okay, I want to really read this now. I did and I thought it was interesting and there was some laughter while reading it as well. I think at the time when it first came out why it didn't fully interest me because you know when you are a certain place in life and just aren't ready to comprehend certain things. I feel like that was me back then as though 'he's just not into you' was more my focus because at the time that is what made sense in my head to understand and the 'act like a lady think like a man' was not in my comprehension to understand. As I was reading this book I noted some things that stuck out for me and they may be very brief or vague to some of you who haven't read the book but I don't want to give away all this information inside of the book because then there wouldn't be a point for you to purchase it. I also noticed a lot of things associated together in threes which was interesting. So here's my things I got from the book in point form.

- #1 title = who he is #2 how he gets title = what he does #3 reward for effort = how much he makes
- #1 profess #2 provide #3 protect
- He's needs are #1 support #2 loyalty #3 the cookie
- When wanting to talk about something instead of the famous 'we need to talk' use something like nothings wrong I just want to talk to you about ...
- A man always wants something. Always. and when it comes to women, that plan is always to find out two things #1 if you're willing  to sleep with him and #2 if you are, how much it will cost to get you to sleep with him
- Sports fish or a keeper which is the basically how you would let a man treat you if you have standards or if you don't set any standards.
- How a lot of women are willing to put up with a lot of things from guys because either they have something they want: money, fame, lifestyle or all 3. Many don't realize that they are nothing more than for sex and arm candy because they never bother to ask the simple question of 'where is this going'.
- They (Women) don't bother to quiz men up front about their intentions and if women simply took the time to ask that very simple question they would know the guy wasn't looking for anything serious.
- A first step to do before getting into deep is to let go of the fear of losing the guy by confronting him.
- If he can't give you a concrete example of how you've shown your 'kindness', he's not really thinking about you beyond the surface. (example: "You remember that time when it was my mom's birthday and you called me and reminded me to pick up a card for her? That was really nice.")
- If you have probed and asked the question where he's feelings don't run very deep then he is just not there and you need not be there too.
- Men are full aware they need to answer these questions, however if his not going to bother to answer, then don't waste your time with him.
- Don't think you're going to work it out later or wait it out until he gets more comfortable because that would be nothing more than blind hope and you'll have to find out the hard way that this guy isn't for you.
- It's your right to know all the answers, so don't think that it's not.
- When you are getting the information from the questions ask yourself if you see yourself in his short-term plans, his long-term plans, as a part of his family, having babies with him, helping him continue a solid relationship with his mom, being a role-model dad for our kids, the whole picture?
- A grave mistake that you could do is to give your benefits (the cookie) to a guy who's only been on the job for a week or two because you don't know this man -- not much anyways, he doesn't know you and he hasn't proven himself.
- Plus he could walk off the job at any time and there will be nobody but yourself to blame.
- A guy who gets the benefits early in a relationship is more likely to move onto a committed relationship because he didn't have to put in work or prove himself.
- The women who lays out the requirements (probabtionary period) early on and lets her intended know that he can either rise up to the requirements or just move on because it lets him know you are not a plaything -- not someone to be used or discarded.
- The man who is willing to meet the requirements and put in the time is the one you want to stick around and you win the ultimate prize of maintaining your dignity along with self-esteem plus earning the respect of the man who recognized that you were worth the wait.
- It's your right to want what you want and to actually get it.
- Put yourself first, ask the five questions, withhold the benefits and demand the respect.
- The decision is Y.O.U.R.S. whether you want a guy to sleep with you, kiss you, when to let go of each other's hug and embrace. Where they put their hands on your body and if they can keep touching that place or if they need to let it go.
- There job is to convince you to give those things to them but ultimately the decision on whether they get it or not is O.U.R.S.
- Only give up that power to a man when one has earned it and is going to respect it and do something with it.
- The following are forms of payment: a hug, kiss, talking on the phone, going for a walk in the park, having an ice cream cone together, going out for dinner, getting dressed up for them, exchanging emails + Our time = is a form of payment.
- The benefits are if he wants to sleep with you, make babies and have a family with you. Those are benefits and his got 90 days to prove himself were as you have 90 days to figure this man out.
- Let the guy know what you want and what you expect early to get uncomfortable moments out of the way.
- Women want clarity and what they want to know in a nutshell is this: Where's the relationship going? Do you love me? Am I the one? What do you see for us?
- The number one cause of failure in this country is the fear of failure. Fear paralyzes you from taking action. Don't be afraid to lose him, because if a man truly loves you, he's not going anywhere.

To not let yourself get played, start by being really clear up front as to what he wants out of his life and his relationship with you by these 5 questions. These 5 questions will help determine  what values the guy has and where you fit into his plans.
1. What are your short-term goals?
2. What are our long-term goals?
3. What are your views on relationships?
(Find out how he feels about family. What are his views on it? Does he want a family? How does he feel about children? Does he see himself being a father? How his relationship is with mother? How he feels about his father? His relationship with God?)

(The following questions is for when you have been talking and dating for a while. The following question should be asked before you have parted with 'the cookie'.)
4. What do you think about me?
(Every man is going to give the generic answer of: I think you're great I think you'd make a great mom, you're fun, kind, you're really beautiful, you turn me on, you're energetic, outgoing, a hard worker, very smart. I think you're the kind of woman I could see myself with. But ultimately you want specifics and you want to know that he has thought about you beyond the surface. So do follow-ups as exhibit A: 'Oh, you think I'm kind? What about me makes you think I'm kind?)

(Should not be confused with what do you "think" about me -- "think and "feel" are two wholly different things. If a man cannot tell you after a month of dating how he feels about you, it's because he doesn't feel anything for you -- he just wants something.)
5. How do you feel about me?
(What you're looking for in his answer is like this: "When I don't see you, I miss talking to you, I always wonder what you're doing and whenever you come around, I just feel better -- you're the type of woman I've been trying to find.") I think you're cool answer is not going to cut it here.

There was top ten questions to formulate what exactly are your requirements and I think everyone could benefit from these questions who are unsure or have never really thought about certain questions. The following =
1. What specific kind of man are you looking for? (For example, Funny? Hardworking? Generous?)
2. How do you expect to be pursued? (Do you want regular phone calls? Text messages? Dates at least three times a week? Do you  want him to always pick up the tab?)
3. What level of commitment do you expect? (Do you want an open relationship? Or to date exclusively? Should it be up for discussion?)
4. What kind of financial security do you expect this man to have? (Do you want him to be rich? Do you want him to make more money than you? Are you okay with a blue-collar worker?)
5. Do you want a man who wants kids and is family oriented?
6. Does he have to be religious/spiritual?
7. Do you mind if he's divorce or has kids?
8. Can you help a man build his dream? Can you adapt to his plan?
9. What do you expect of his family? (Should you get along with his mother? Do you care if he doesn't get along with her? Or if his father was never around?)
10. What should he be willing to do to woo you? (Should he pursue you? Give you expensive gifts?)

90 day rule
The probationary period  means nothing if you're not putting him through the paces. And in which case you should be checking for the following:

- does he come when he said he's going to come
- does he call when he's going to be late
- does he like and care about your friends
- if you have them, does he care about your children
- does he express his joy when in your presence
- most importantly, is this the man you can see yourself in a committed relationship with?
- do you see signs that make your god-given intuition kick in?

Things You May Want to Find Out
1. How does he react when you tell him you've got some problems?
2. How does your man react under pressure?
3. How does he react to bad news?
4. How does he react when he's told "no"?

A list of things to do with your man to help you and him stay focused on the relationship.

1. Go on dates that help you find out each other's interests: if he's into photography, hit up a photography exhibit at the local museum; if you're into cooking, take a cooking class together.
2. Host a barbecue at your house and invite him to meet your friends and family; a good guy should be comfortable meeting the people you love.
3. Go to church together; know that he's interested.
4. Sign up for a sexy Latin dance class so you can learn new moves -- it'll show you if he's into trying new things, and you can tell if the man has, um, rhythm.
5. Go out for a picnic in the park with the kids; see if he's comfortable with them.
6. Find out each other's favorite artists and attend a concert together.
7. Release your inner kid and spend an evening playing games at an arcade.
8. Have a few "firsts" together -- go horseback riding together, or hit up a batting cage, or fall over each other at the ice skating rink.
9. Volunteer together -- help out at the local soup kitchen or read books to kids at a local foster home; you can tell a lot about a man who's willing to help others.
10. rent a convertible and get lost cruising in your city; you'll have plenty of time to talk on a long drive.
11. Find a quiet place where you can watch the sunset together.
12. Play a board game.
13. Go for a long walk under a starlit sky.
14. Send each other naughty emails, so he can be sure that when he does get it, it's going to be good. (And you can make sure he's literate while you're at it.)
15. Read a passage out of each other's favorite books.
16. Have a movie night in which you both bring your favorite DVDS.
17. Go to a record store and listen to each other's favorite artists.
18. Challenge each other to do something silly, like build a sandcastle at the beach or a game of jacks or marbles.
19. Hit up a comedy show; you can learn a lot about a person by what they find funny and what they think is offensive.

What You Want, Expect and are Worth
You want to make it clear to him what you are worth and you come at a cost. You want to tell him you're worth like your about to list yourself on ebay for a million dollars. So you need to break down your value and say : "I respect you, I adore you, I'm affectionate. I pay attention to you, I'm punctual, I'm kind, I'm loyal, I'll have your children and love them madly -- and all of this is available for a handsome sum. I need your time, loyalty, support, affection, attention, punctuality, kindness, gentlemen ways -- I need the doors opened, chairs pulled out, your respect and above all else, your love. I also expect a diamond ring and a walk down the aisle."
(So when a man hears this, he is going to pay attention because you have placed a high value on yourself. He will see that and question the situation: "Is she worth all of that?" If the cost is too high he will move on but you don't want that guy anyway. You don't want that guy because he is only looking to rent you and people who rent don't care anything about the property they are with. They don't care because they will let it get run down, beat up and not care what it looks like until they find something better and move on to the next.)
You want the guy who is ready to make the Broadway purchase -- the one who's looking to move in, stay awhile, take care of the lawn, make sure the plumbing is right, paint the walls, add furniture, pay the mortgage faithfully. You know, make your house a home. Because this guy will take responsibility and be the one to pop the question like you need him to.

I think this is an interesting book to have around even if you have 'he's just not that into you' because to me they're not typically one in the same. It is definitely a quick read, you can read it in a couple of hours. However, I had been reading it over a few days but I think if you want a better understanding or to clarify some things I recommend this book. It comes in paperback form which when it first came out was only sold in hardcover which I am not a fan of hardcover, I am a paperback girl at heart.

The book explains more in detail but I thought these were good pieces of information to gather for this post. I hope it was helpful in some way. =)

Have a lovely night.

The Power

Hi Lovelies!

I have being following through with the post once a week. However, I probably should be more SPECIFIC in perhaps on a day each week but I don't also want to do that because life isn't always consistent in the way it works. Just as long as once a week is being completed, I am completing my goal. I will soon add to make it 2 posts a week in the near months.

Any way this post I wanted to do was about a book I had started last year and finished it when the new year rang in. I had had this book from a long time but I never was able to read it because with these kinds of books I feel like for me it takes certain moments in life for you to handle it. If it makes any sense to you. I do have two more books in that nature that I not come to read yet, which I hope to read this year.

The book I read was 'The Power' the follow up from 'The Secret' which a new follow up book is coming up in March called 'The Magic' which I can't wait to see what that's about. Whoa, so much talking on this post which I am sorry it is not straight to the point on this post tonight but this is just the way my words are falling out on this post tonight. I thought 'The Power' was a great read for me like a refresher from 'The Secret' it gave me more focus on the more specific aspect of LOVE. In every aspect that word is associated with every chapter from the chapters on feelings, frequencies, creation, power, money and relationships. The 3 very key steps I gathered from reading this was 1. IMAGINE 2. FEEL 3. RECEIVE and it is so true. If you imagine and feel you have what it is you're imagining it will come that more to you in your life. What I mean by that is the fact of presenting what it is you want to come into your life by including little aspects of it in your daily life and it will come alive. Another thing that I took from this book was 'imagine if...' so it is to make a circle and in that circle put a dot in the middle of it, beside that dot write the name of desire next to dot. It represents how small it is and anything can happen because everything you want in your life is possible because God created this world and if you dream it it has already been created by God, so it is already possible. I think that is one great aspect to do if in fear of how to make something happen or if it will ever happen is to do this exercise to help you. The last thing that I got from reading this was the section on money. Instead of always complaining of not having not enough or always having to pay bills etc. that is why money is always going out for you because you are not thankful for it. When paying a bill or anything write down THANK YOU after you have paid that bill so that you are grateful and appreciative that way money will always be there in a positive way instead of a negative way.

Overall I think this was a great follow up read for me and it was I guess all about timing why it took me a long time to read this book. I am glad that I finally read it and would recommend this book if you are into this type of belief in way things work in life. I have always done things like this since I was little and they happened, however it was way before I knew anything of the secret or any book into this relation. I would recommend this book if you agree with how positivity works for you when you use and etc. It is also a great follow up refresher to help you with your ambitions and etc. if you have been in a lack of making goals or achieving what it is you want.

So I want to leave this post with this quote:

Life isn't happening to you; life is responding to you. Life is your call! Every area of your life is your call. You are the creator of your life. You are the writer of your life story. You are the director of your movie. You decide what your life will be - by what you give out.

TREASURE YOURSELF

Good Late Evening to you Beautiful Lovelies!

So I was suppose to do this post a while back but never did it because I never did finish reading the book but tonight I have. I had been waiting for the release of this book for about 2-3 years because every time I heard about it in magazines it said it would be released soon but never the case. Anyways.. I randomly came across the topic of Miranda Kerr and decided to look into if the book she wrote has already came out or ever did. Just to my luck it had been but the catch it was not available to order from places within Canada or the states. I found out that it was still available to purchase from Australian so I ordered it because I just had to have this book. I was so excited to read about it and what she would have to offer in it. The book detailing is so beautiful. It looks just like a journal you would write in. The title of the book is such a beautiful pick, it definitely relates to what she is discussing in the book. I definitely loved reading this book, it was a great read. It's so full of positivity, it's unbelievable how much encouraging and inspiring thoughts come as you read this book. Once again, this is a quick read also.. however I don't think really it's a book to rush into to read. I think it's about taking your time to read it and let certain things sink in for you. I think that is why I took, so long to get to this post because I was really into it and thought I would finish it but I never did because every time I went back to read I just couldn't move forward. I think that was a sign to let everything I had sink in and not to rush into it. The time will come when my mind will be ready to read the rest of it to the complete end without any stopping. I think this would make a great gift but even more so I think it's a great read and excellent book to have in your collection but not only that to carry around or have on your nightstand. I definitely think this book is not one of those books to sit on your book shelf to collect dust. It's a definite helper, it can give you that positivity you need when you don't allow your mind access to out rule the negative thoughts you allow yourself to repeat. As I was reading the book I marked some of my notable things that stuck out at me that she talks about. I will follow in detail now. Just a little tid bit I purchased this book from the Kora website where Miranda Kerr has her own skin line in case anyone wants to purchase this book. :D Every thing that stuck out at me I bold, underlined or italicized.

Positivity #1
I would like to call it words of enlightenment to let us know what we may but do not allow ours to be aware of or don't know because we are not fully aware along with possibly doubt, lack confidence etc. So I decided to write the whole thing out even though I was only going to write the first page but I thought maybe someone will come across this and it will empower them some how. Titled:

YOU
It is not that we don't have the strength within us...
We have more strength than we could possibly imagine.
Most of us fail to see it within ourselves
yet so willingly see it in others.
What if we nurtured ourselves to the point where
we discovered and experienced our own greatness?
What if we finally realised that we are limited
only by our thoughts and by what we think is or
isn't possible for us? After all, that is the truth...
nothing more, nothing less.
It is our thoughts that determine our experiences,
not only of ourselves, but of our world and of others...

Too often we fail to see that at any give moment we have a
choice to alter our lives, our existence.

Too often we are driven automatically by who we think we
are or should be as opposed to who we possibly could be...

Sometimes we choose to be angry, ungrateful, resentful
and jealous when instead we have the ability to choose to
be accepting, forgiving and grateful for all that we have...

Choose [with goodness in your heart] to be brave,
courageous and adventurous in this world and
acknowledge all who are being just that, for they
have overcome what many have yet to overcome...
the fear of knowing who they really are.

Look forward and dream of what's possible for your life...
and remember that the only thing limiting
you is your thoughts.

Only you have the power to change your thoughts.
Alter your thoughts and you alter your world.

- Miranda Kerr

Positivity #2
Is talking about loving yourself and I believe a lot of us in this world lack that. We focus so much on others that we neglect ourselves and our inner light that needs nurturing. I for one can admit to this; I can admit to not fully loving myself to the ability I have inside of me but I have come to realize that it is an important aspect in getting to know yourself. The title of what she is talking about in this paragraph is called:
Loving yourself... Oscar Wilde said, 'To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance'. I believe that loving and treasuring yourself is essential for happiness. It's about treasuring who you are as a person and accepting, respecting and honoring yourself.
This is something I have struggled with personally. Loving yourself stems from the belief that 'Who I am is enough', and that the qualities you possess are unique, worthwhile and special. It is about being grateful for what you have been given, accepting who you are and being compassionate towards yourself. It's like a beautiful reflection. What you see in yourself is what you see in everyone else around you.

Positivity #3
How you have the ability to choose your circumstances in which you feel when you first get up in the morning and I agree. If you say negative things to start your day then that's the way you let it go but if you say something positive to start the day your day will be just that, positive! 'Today is going to be a wonderful day full of new and exciting experiences.' Once you allow your self and mind to think in such a way you allow for unlimited possibilities and opportunities as well as people are automatically drawn to you and your enthusiasm.

Positivity #4
What really stuck out at me here was the first sentence and I believe it's true. I believe it's true because their are people I have witnessed in my daily life-time that talk, talk, talk and never put anything into action. Most of the time it's because of the account of failure and would I say I have come to this cross roads before, most definitely. I just think you just need to not think of it as failure but rather tack it full force if it's something you want. It's better to know you tried then to not have tried at all and always wonder along with have what if in the back of you mind for the rest of your life.
Action is what separates the dreamers from those who actually live out their dreams. At first you might be afraid to take the first step because you fear you might fail, but I think failure as education -- it gives you the knowledge you need to succeed.

Positivity #5
Having SELF-CONFIDENCE and loving yourself along with being comfortable in your own skin. It's true, why compare yourself to someone else? You are beautiful, unique, valuable and intelligent and have many talents that make you you. So I think that's something to support and admire of yourself not what someone else has or does. The more you learn about yourself, the more you are able to love yourself and give compassion to others which from that flows love. When you accept and appreciate yourself you can handle any situation with class, dignity and respect.

Positivity #6
How someone notices something about us and we just feel they are saying it just because to be nice or whatever the case may be. When people give us compliments we need to receive them wholeheartedly and accept them as the gift they are because sometimes others have the ability to see our inner and outer beauty when we fail to see it ourselves.

Positivity #7
Being you vulnerable, authentic is what makes you you! It's what life needs, life wants what you have to offer the universe. Those people who are that way know their strengths, weaknesses and accept both. The authentic you isn't about being perfect for society's standards. It's about being REAL and the AUTHENTIC YOU is what counts.

Positivity #8
Doing what you want and not feeling guilty but being able to say no if you need to. Just standing up for yourself! Some people find it's better not to rock the boat but to be silent but that could be worse. It could be worse because you are accommodating others requests and ignoring your own desires. However, it's important that we stand up for ourselves and value ourselves enough to what we know is right and for what we want or else we will never get the things we want.

Positivity #9
PASSION, PASSION, PASSION! A good way to increase your confidence is finding your passion, which then allows for you to be determined and have belief. However, sometimes we allow ourselves to hide it behind the needs of others and we deny ourselves what we truly want.

Positivity #10
Treasuring yourself and limiting negative thoughts with positive thoughts. I think the best example of how to do that for yourself is by 'When I embrace myself and treasure who I am then love and respect flows into my life.' Treasuring yourself is about living a healthy life and the way we feel on the inside is what counts not the outside. It's the ability of feeling good about yourself and accepting yourself for who you are to carry a inner strength that empowers and makes our life productive.

Positivity #11
Relationships resemble the thoughts and values you hold within your life are also prevalent in the relationships we have with others. 'I strongly believe that the beliefs and values you hold about yourself and your life are reflected in all your relationships. Your relationships with others can tell you a lot about yourself.' The challenging relationships are the ones that make you become a better version of yourself. Relationships make us recognize our least desirable qualities or traits so we can recognize them. However, we shouldn't stay in relationships we have outgrown but to honor ourselves by walking away if the relationship no longer meets our needs.

Positivity #12
Letting Go and not allowing the people around who are changing to bother you because they are no longer in your life. It's normal and people are going to change but so are you! You are going to evolve your values and beliefs and begin to attract like-minded people. You will have the friends who will be with you for a lifetime but then their are the ones who 'are markers on the road that point you in the right direction or travel with you for a while until you or they choose another path.' Appreciating both helped added to the person you are today. At the end of the day real friends accept you for who you are and walk in when others walk out. Another thing I like that was mentioned was 'I was once told that if you wanted to see what type of person someone is, you just have to look at their friends. It's important to be around people who mirror real you and not to change who you are to fit in with other people.'

Positivity #13
Giving your all and not a half fast job. 'It's not necessary to wait for some big project; every small thing you do can have the power to transform your life. Once you start something positive, it will ripple outwardly and has the potential to touch the lives of others.' If you are going to invest your time and energy give it everything you got not just half of what you got. By just doing things half-heartedly you are robbing yourself of achieving your dreams and desires. If you give your full attention then you will always receive the greatest benefit.

Positivity #14
Letting your LIGHT SHINE instead of allowing low energy thoughts to dim out you light. It's about staying true to who you are and not about convincing others. When you allow yourself to switch on the light you begin to attract all sorts of interesting creatures. Convince yourself, no one else and be warm and bright and everyone will be attracted to you. You won't have to convince anyone because your positive, bright outlook will irresistibly attract them to you from the the outlook of yourself and the world.

Positivity #15
Making your Own Power Thoughts!
- Choose a phrase that describes what you desire but short and powerful
- Your statement MUST BE in the PRESENT tense. For example : 'I am passionate about school/my career' instead of ' I will be passionate about school/my career.' because the beginning is working on changing will the end indicates some time in the future.
- Your power thought should stem from a positive perspective instead of a negative one. Phrase in a positive way such as : 'I'm always passionate about my career' instead of 'I don't like my career when I'm not passionate about it.' as it places your career in a negative light
- Your power thought should always be said in first person, which is 'I'. Because it is always about you and not another person since you can only affect your own reality and happiness has to come from within before it can be extended to and from other people.

This is pretty much all I had to mention for this book but I will leave some power thoughts were in the rest of the book to give you some ideas of achieving your own.

True Whit

True Whit by Whitney Port! =)

So I got this book finally! I was waiting a long time for it to be released and then found out the date it was to be released wasn't so at all. However, that it was out since January 21st, 2011! Anyways, besides the point .. the book is very interesting. I think it's a great book especially when you're first moving out on your own by yourself and have your own place. There is so many little different bits and pieces to her book. As again it's an easy read for sure but I have been reading it over the course of 9 days now. I know you guys are probably thinking another girl from the hills with a book again! To be honest hers and Lo's are worth reading and I won't be reading any other Hills cast mates books. I know their is Lauren's Style book but her book doesn't intrigue me to want to be it or read it at all. I've skimmed through it so many times when I go to the book store and it just doesn't sit well with me. Ok, I think that is a little too much information on other things and a lot less on this book I'm talking about. So the things and different aspects of the book I liked are definitely ..

The Basic items you should have in your wardrobe
&. Great pair of fitted jeans preferably dark because they're a bit more "dressier" and can be worn to work

&. The little black dress .. need I say more?

&. Simple white, black or heather gray tanks/tees

&. A leather jacket

&. Cashmere knit scarves in any color

&. Black boots [the little black booties in short, medium, tall or over the knee who doesn't love booties?]

&. A black or navy blazer! [a definite must have at least one in my opinion]

&. Simple heels 2-3 inches [again probably most of you will opt for black but a splash of color is very nice as well to make your outfit pop]

&. A sleek pencil skirt [the classic, elegant, beautiful skirt that makes you look wonders and works both ways for day or night -- SCORE!]

&. An accessory that adds polish [ I myself love accessories they're the best part of completing your outfit. I preferably though like gold for my jewelery than silver. Not only that it allows for you to bring out your amazing personality that compliments your outfit.]

Some other things worth mentioning that I liked from the book was 'How to throw a party' which was very intriguing because she gives you ideas and guidelines if you wanted to do that but didn't know where to start.

When it comes to the section on Dating she gives advice on wowing guy giving gifts, the L word and meeting the parents. I definitely like what she said and agree with her "Love is between two people; it's meant to be private." One thing about meeting the parents that it's a must for every girl and this is now the second time I have read this is bring a gift. Bring either a bottle of wine, flowers or a small dessert along with dress conservative - nothing sloppy, sexy, low necklines and the skin tight. You want to make a great impression.

Whit's 6 signs it's getting SERIOUS
- He calls you his "girlfriend".
- He asks your opinion.
- He's willing to make sacrifices.
- He gets green with envy.
- He's fast-forwarding ti the future.
- He wants to be with you.

Whit's 6 signs it's OVER
- Absence is making the heart grow colder.
- The fire has fizzled.
- You have nothing to say.
- He doesn't want to make future plans.
- You don't think happy thoughts
- You're constantly fighting

The last thing that I am going to talk about from the book because there is a lot of information and interesting topics and such is the last chapter called: Designing woman which are 7 steps she gives you and are very well true and I think the bold ones I highlighted should be followed no matter the career choice or things you want to accomplish in your life.

1. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
2. THE BIG IDEA
3. BE TRUE TO YOU
4. YOU GOTTA HAVE A PLAN
5. BE READY TO DEAL WITH MONEY, HONEY
6. SPREAD THE WORD
7. DON'T GIVE UP
I definitely recommend this book it's very enticing and gives you a lot of ideas and guidelines to help you with things. I think this book is especially good if you are living on your own for the first time like I said before.
